This is my official blog award page.
People have posted mixed feelings about these awards, from what I’ve read. Some say they appreciate them but won’t “brag” about them by posting them on their blogs.
Others think they’re chain-letters and totally blow them off.
Two people were honest about how much work they are to renominate 7 – 15 other bloggers and just do the best they can when they get around to it.
I’m somewhere in the middle.
I happen to think awards are nice and yeah, it’s sometimes kind of a monster drag having to find 7 – 15 new worthy people if you’re busy dealing with everything else you’ve been procrastinating.
But, I liken these awards to the glow-in-the-dark sneakers my maternal grandma gave me for a twenty-something birthday…I grin and bear it and still wear them when I know she’s coming over for dinner.
